This article looks at Zimbabwe today. The article states how the ZANU-PF and Mugabe were beginning to look promising in 2009-13. The economy had stabilized and political space re-opened, while unbeknownst to the public ZANU-PF and Mugabe were intimidating the media and rigged the 2013 polls to win the election.
A human rights activist was also abducted in broad daylight. It is believed that he was abducted by Zimbabwe’s intelligence services, as it has long operated with impunity under the direction of Mugabe and his security chiefs.
