Dearest Comrades, in the past few days our rights have been diminished.
Our speech has been limited.
No one should be prevented from referring to midcentury novels on totalitarian regimes or making vast oversimplifications of the political behaviour of three continents.
No longer are those under the party boot safe.
We live in a regime no different to the dictatorships of the last century (Please discuss similarities in the comment section so points are distributed evenly for contributions)
There are more of use than there are in the party, and the party loyal are crumbling by the day.
It should not be revolutionary to demand universal benefits for all class members regardless of party membership.
It should not be revolutionary to demand healthcare for the class (The 'glorious' leader refused to pay for dental care, now look at me).
It should not be revolutionary to distribute notes evenly amongst the class in gatherings of no more than 500 people.
This is not a revolutionary post. This is a post demanding common-sense rule for the class, by the class - The Student Class.

DeleteYou are completely correct that it should not be revolutionary to demand basic rights such as healthcare. This current regime we live under is so similar to the dictatorship of German Chancellor Adolf Hitler, who once in power rigged elections and shut down any newspapers or public meetings that brought the government into contempt. Xavier actively discourages any criticism of his regime and punishes the class with the removal of points when it does occur.
ReplyDeleteXavier blatantly rigged a recent election that took place in during a lecture and removed the peoples' voice. We are currently living under a one party system which is similar to states such as North Korea with the Workers' Party of Korea and China with the Communist Party of China. Living in a One-party state removes our ability as the people to choose during elections who we wish to be in government and to remove who we no longer want in power. In order to regain our voice and freedom we must demand from Xavier benefits and work slowly towards a fair and democratic system where we are able to choose who is in power.
Another malcontent! We're simply the MOST democratic regime in this entire University. Elections, a SUPERIOR governing party, I can't think what else one might want.
