Censorship in China is an interesting topic. This article looks at a recent threat made by Google Inc. to stop filtering results for it's search engine in China. The CPC has outraged by this and see it as an attempt to impose liberal political values. As an American company is it a potential tool for democracy? And is China responding so defensively out of guilt? Does the thought of content on politically sensitive topics being accessible to the Chinese public make them panic - yes.
