This week JD Vance and Tim Walz debated each other for the first time as part of the vice presidential debate. While watching along I noticed an interesting series of questioning and rebuttal where Tim Walz asks JD Vance if Trump lost the election in 2020. Vance's avoidance of the question suggests he either doesn't believe Trump lost or doesn't want to admit it to the republican voter base. This is especially interesting as Trumps last VP pick, Mike Pence has admitted they lost the election and is therefore not endorsing Trump this election. This makes me wonder how Trump and Vance would respond to another election loss. Would they accept it or would we see a repeat of 2020? Washington Post has written an interesting article talking about how trumps team is planning not to concede if they lose the election.
