Blog contribution

I recently finished reading a book called Wild Swans by Jung Chang. The book recounts the lives of three generations of Chinese women and is set against the backdrop of the Chinese communist revolution. The book is banned in China because the author is repeatedly critical of Mao. Included in the book are Chang's grandmother's biography, her mother's biography and her own autobiography. It provides really interesting insight into the Chinese revolution from the perspective of normal Chinese citizens. I highly recommend it.
