Darfur has been a topic of great debate for a few years now as human rights organizations argue the situation is a genocide and the UN delays making any formal accusations. A warrant has now been issued for the Sudanese President for the humanitarian crimes that have been going on in the eastern region of Sudan, Darfur. Angry about this action against him the President has forced many of the humanitarian organizations that are providing relief to refugees and other victims in the area, organizations that are providing sanitation and food to the destitute, out of Sudan. Organizations have been forced to hand in lists of employees and volunteers so that all can be rounded up and forced out of the country. Without this aid the people of Darfur are left with little little hope.

however this is a very long, detailed, and in depth report that is not the easiest to read.
An easier to read/skim conflict summary can be found here. While it is also a long report, it is easier to navigate and gives a good idea of the conflict that is occurring in the region.
