This is a short travel doco type thing about a journalists journey into North Korea. It catalouges his trip through the country, which was at all times under state control. They get dragged around from monument to museum, stay in enormous hotels with only one floor operating and get feed at supposed banquet halls where, to show the plenty of NK, the waiters serve food to empty tables. Its a fascinating look at a state that is notouriously camera shy. The mot striking observation the guy makes is along the lines of "nothing normal seems to happen here ever."
Plus there's a whole lot of stock NK propaganda film in it, which is pretty interesting
Very interesting series of short films available on that link, definitely recommend taking a peak. What interested me most was just seeing North Korea. How empty it is and how it still tries to operate as well as putting up great shows for visiting Journos and Tourists. I would worry about how effective the propaganda is as well, as that could easily be the biggest blocking point to changing the system...You will have a whole series of generations who have not known anything apart from Kim or his father. Yeah.
